Coarse pink salt

This unrefined, unprocessed, "raw" salt is hand-harvested from Pakistan's salt caves, formed 250 million years ago after ocean salt sank to the bottom.

According to ancient tradition, salt is mined by hand - without the use of machinery and blasting.

After manual sorting, the salt is crushed and washed by hand and then dried in the sun. Pink salt is used in the same way as ordinary table salt - for cooking, baking. However, pink salt is much richer in minerals and trace elements and is 100% natural.
