Date fresh Mazafati

Mazafati is perhaps one of the most palatable date varieties in the world. They are attractive black in color and have a moisture content of 15 to 35% depending on harvest time and growing location. The size of the dates ranges from 1.5 to 4.5 cm, fleshy structure. The highest quality and tastiest variety of Mazafati dates is grown in the province of Bam in the southeastern part of Iran. Planting area is about 28 thousand hectares, of which 5 thousand hectares are planted with young and not yet fruitful trees. About 120,000 tons of products are collected here annually.

Dates have the highest percentage of carbohydrates among other fruits - more than 60 percent, they also contain acids: niacin, riboflamin and pantothenic acid. They promote the digestibility of carbohydrates, regulate blood glucose levels. There are 23 different types of amino acids in these fruits that are not found in most other fruits.

Dates have a high content of minerals: copper, iron, magnesium, zinc, manganese, potassium, calcium, fluorine and others; as well as vitamins: A, C, B1, B2, B6. Ten dates can satisfy the body's daily requirement for copper, magnesium and sulfur.
